Originally established as the RMC Community Fund in 2004, the Fund has been renamed following the acquisition of RMC Group by CEMEX.

Both Fund’s have built upon the good work of the RMC Environment Fund, the original distributing body for RMC Group’s landfill tax credits, managed by The Environment Council. Over its lifetime the RMC Environment Fund supported 173 individual projects with total grants of over £10.7 million. The board of the RMC Community Fund is committed to continuing to abide by the principles of consistency, transparency, honesty and fairness in all our operations and funding decisions.
